"Psychological and spiritual issues have been central to my work. I began making films in graduate school while studying to be a therapist. My training and experience as a therapist has fueled my desire to use the healing powers of art to probe our psyches, to reveal our secrets and to heal our wounds." —Jay Rosenblatt
